This is a beautiful fur. The base furs are a bit shorter - about 3/4". The accent furs are kind of hair-like in with horizontal stripes of white along with a silver color. The striping is bold, the pile is deep and the fur is varying lengths which gives it a slightly patched look. When this fur moves the longer hairs flutter in the wind like feathers on a finch.
